Today I went to Vivid Sydney with mother, cousin & uncle. It was brilliant. I always loved the effects of lights. :3
Having a night to just have fun really frees yourself and you’ll remain smiling, unknowingly, for the rest of the night!

Lights on the building. Stupid tree.

Jellyfish in the air! :3
Buildings lit up with reds and blues. Usually they are just the bland grey and browns in real life.
I couldn’t get a nice picture because of the darkness, lack of good camera and rain but there was a tree filled with yellow noise sensors lights. If you made noise, it would shine on you. So basically everyone was screaming at the tree. Kwahahaha. Very amusing.
There was also a ‘fire’ show. They shot fire out along to a song~ I never got to see it up close though. :(

This building is being lit up by a light. Can you tell? Teehee.
Of course the Opera House was one of the best spectacles of the night. It was lighting up in all these different colours and animations across the sails. It was beautiful.

There are also a lot of light sculptures! I only took pictures with/of some.

Uncle, me and cousin next to this…light thing..I don’t know what it’s called.
Me, my boyfriend and cousin. Isn’t he charming?

Entangled within the ropes of this sculptures. Expression is a bit retarded, my apologies.

Teehee, ghost shot.

We went to pancake on the rocks for a bit of snack. :) We ordered the trademark dish and the traditional pancakes. So delish!
All in all, it was a fun night out with family. Next year, I’ll invest in a boyfriend and a DSLR. Kwahahaha. Really tired now but happy tired. Everyone else is exhausted but I still have a smile on my face. :D
Some long shutter speed shots. I had more but there are already too many pictures in this post!

This is one where I moved around.

I hand held the camera as still as possible with the moving lights on the Opera House. The squiggly blue & pink lines are street lights!
Hu~ I’m out for the night!
