Where does the time go?
I just sat down at the cafe thinking that I finally had time to get my shit together for Rocketboxx, instead I start smashing out a redundant blog post.
I haven’t had the chance to write my top 5 Korean dishes.
I haven’t had the chance to finish my last cafe hopping post in Korea.
I haven’t had the chance to post about any of the excellent and terrible movies I’ve seen in the past month.
I haven’t had the chance to stay up to date with U-KISS.
I haven’t had the chance to update Rocketboxx.
I haven’t had the chance to monitor RocketSubs.
I haven’t had the chance to paint my toes.
I haven’t had the chance to start my assignments.
I haven’t even had the chance to pack and move houses!
And I was incredibly stupid to have rejected the chance to purchase Imagine Dragons in Sydney tickets.
Somehow I always feel like that there isn’t enough time, but with another sip of the nasty coffee I’m drinking I’ve realised that I have been doing more than a few things.
I had the chance to find two jobs.
I had the chance to volunteer for KOFFIA 2013 in Sydney.
I had the chance to dress up as a unicorn.
I had the chance to cut my hair.
I had the chance to celebrate my friend’s birthday.
I had the chance to finish reading ‘The Cuckoo’s Calling’.
I had the chance to spend three thrilling days at the hospital with my mother.
I had the chance to catch a cold and recover.
I had the chance to watch Kick Ass 2, Now You See Me, Elysium and The Wolverine.
I had the chance to find out my favourite cafe in Sydney is no longer my favourite cafe.
I had the chance to see Matt Damon.
I had the chance to paint my nails.
And I’ve decided to go on a two week strike from going out too much.
So I guess this post is more just a little note for myself, than anything else, that you need to remember what you’ve done, enjoyed and accomplished rather than what you missed out on. If you keep focusing things on that you didn’t get to do, you’re going to miss all the things that you did get to do.
Yay, I had the chance to write this post.
Also…I really like Henry Jackman right now.
