YES, NKOTBSB BLEW MY MIND.
I definitely wanted to get everything out of my system as soon as it was over, but I was (still am) trying to piece my brain together to get these assignments done.
Everything is happening at once. Literally. Mind blown, over and over again.
Just about the sanest picture of my sister and I. We were all sweaty and gross afterwards. We danced until our feet melted, and armpits (from pumping our fists into the air, ok?) were sore.
BSB
I had a major dilemma about whether to take pictures or not. Don’t we always when we head to concerts? I figured I’ll just enjoy it, most of it anyway. I took some pictures here and there. I didn’t have a good camera anyway, just my iPhone.
BSB was flawless. They are so perfect. Nobody can do it like BSB. B-Rok was still his perfect little self! How do I explain? Brian was just Brian, okay? Don’t question it. AJ can still get it, his voice kills me. Nick was a rockstar. He had terrible hair though (HE JUST CUT IT SHORT AFTER SYDNEY’S SHOW :( ). But, he was still as flirty and fun as ever. Howie…well, I love him for doing the ‘Everybody’ dance move that my sister and I love.
AJ on the big screen. If you place your nose close to the screen, the little dude in the red jacket is B-Rok!
Throughout all of BSB’s songs, my sister and I felt like we needed to SCREAM all their songs rather than sing along. Needless to say, even throughout the blaring speakers, we received odd looks from all the girls around us. It was so crazy. Every time a song started, within half a second I would be screaming and jumping “OMG! LARGER THAN LIFE!!!!!!” “OMG! QUIT PLAYING GAMES!!!!!!”.
As a result, I lost my voice for two days and my ears rang for three days.
What really made the concert was that the crowd knew every single song and we were all just in it together. We were fucking insane during ‘Everybody’. We just died with that one.
NKOTB
One of the things I regret is not getting familiar with all of NKOTB’s songs. They were extremely awesome too. I felt like I could have enjoyed the concert 200% more if I did know all their songs off by heart. They knew how to get the crowd going. It was all about crotch grabbing, hip thrusts, sexy eye gazes, sexy shirt ripping, sexy singing, sexy sexy sexy.
I have to say, the biggest highlight with NKOTB was when they scattered around the stadium during one of their songs. Donnie came to our side! My sister is extremely fond of his brother, Mark. She’s extremely thrilled and proud that she was able to “touch” Donnie, a person that is blood-related to Mark. Puahaha. Anyway, this was the best I could capture whilst I scrambled for my iPhone and was grooving to the beat the same time. Donnie could have jumped into all our pants, or, well, maybe we just wanted to jump into his.
If Sydney had a second show, I would have gone in a heartbeat. So many feelings. Cue 1000 watermelon head smashes. I don’t think I would be overstating it to say that this was the best concert of my life. I can’t remember a concert that I enjoyed as much, not even the K-POP Festival one. And that’s saying something. If I was not a full-time U-KISS fan, I would be religiously following the flawless beings in BSB.
The perfect tour ends this Sunday in Manila (you lucky peeps!)… the end of it all. *runs into corner dramatically and sobs) Ugh, because my withdrawal symptoms aren’t severe enough…Now all I can do is anxiously wait for BSB’s new release with Kevin, and rocking back and forth until they come back to the land down under.
If you have the chance to see BSB live, you need to DO IT. If your ears haven’t heard the awesome of (old school) BSB, you’re missing out big time; you’ve probably sinned. DO IT!
Who’s got tips on how to deal with the withdrawals I’m going through? :(
In attempt to detach myself from BSB and assignments, I met up with Nina at Project 8 Cafe! We really need to stop spending six hours straight at cafes, it makes things awkward.
Nuba.
Colourful menu.
Nina is working on something like rainbow cats, and more pictures should come out later!
It was good to finally get my hands on my own Neverland and DORADORA! We had a good brainstorm session about rocket, and we’re so stoked to be getting this new ‘branch’ up and running. So hopefully there’ll be less brain farts in the next few weeks.
I will definitely be blogging more regularly after the next week, when semester ends. I am so excited about the prospect of doing nothing! I’ve nothing planned! NOTHING (not including Gaga’s concert). Never has NOTHING sounded so awesome.
Until then, adios!
