How are you? I’m keeping my cheeks warm.
Normally I’m a little sad when my posts have such random and large time gaps in between. I very much do like to keep blogging regularly, but this time around I’m more glad, than anything, to have found time to write a post and throw several pictures in one post, and hoping that it won’t explode.
Last time I wrote I said to wish me luck on my internship, but now you’re reading the blog of an intern, KOFFEE (at the Korean Film Festival In Australia), and future global exchange student to mother-hugging South Korea, on top of the other stuff I previously was as well.
YES, I AM GOING OVERSEAS FOR 6 MONTHS ON MY, HOPEFULLY REFINED, SURVIVAL SKILLS!
Needless to say, when I receive the email I was almost in tears. I admit that thinking about all the possibilities and opportunities freaks me out a little, but the pros definitely weigh out the cons. And to think that this time next year, I’ll be sitting in this very spot and (hopefully) writing a post about how I’ve finally arrived home. Spring is coming, and that always brings good news.
But because of this excellent, mind-blowing trip…I won’t be able to attend Ed Sheeran’s Sydney concert next year…not will I be able to attend the KPOP Heart 2013 Concert.:(

After attending the first week of uni for this semester, I’ve come to the conclusion that this semester is going to be very intense. Like “I’m going to claw out my eyeballs” kind of intense. You dip your toe into the water, and you just know, you know?
And also this pile of things-to-read also gave me a clue. Yes, that subject reader was fucking $42. Ridiculously fat and expensive. I don’t have a subject that has me twinkling my fingers and being creative this time around. It’s all…theory, it seems. One class seems to be just an overly complex tutorial on how to search on Google. Here’s to hoping things pick up…
Silly things aside, I’ve watched The Dark Knight Rises twice during the time I wasn’t blogging. I probably won’t go in for the third time though. It was absolutely brilliant. I loved Bane and Blake in it best. Some scenes were literally break-taking…but I think I’ve had enough of Batman for now. I finished the two seasons of Happy Endings. Now let’s take a moment. Starting Happy Endings right after Friends was probably not the brightest idea. I had no clue that the two series had so many similarities, but Happy Endings works on an entirely different level…
In conclusion, I like it. Any favourites? Max or Penny. Which is odd because my favourite on Friends was Ross, and the “equivalent” character is meant to be Dave. But whatever. Max rocks my world. Happy Endings is definitely a keeper. Though I can totally see the tone and (some) character similarities with Community as well. Those Russo brothers…
I assigned myself a quest the other night, to watch more “Mad Hatter things”. I don’t think I’ve ever said (or rather, wrote) it out loud, but I love all things mad hatter-wise. It’s one of the reasons why I automatically adored Sebastian Stan in Once Upon A Time. Anyway, I watched the SyFy’s miniseries Alice. So the series was terrible on several levels, the ending, the actress for Alice (I did not buy her end of the story at all), the love story. But the hatter was marvelous! I loved him. Like, watermelon-head-smashing love.
Somehow the mini-series sparked my Disney movie marathon. I rewatched Mulan the other day, and I’m now on another quest…to watch all things Disney.
And yes, I’m still slowly getting through Dr.Jin. Things are making even less sense than before. I’ve just given up on Big and I can’t remember if I’ve announced this before or not. I’m patiently waiting for Faith. I’ve also got my little hands on Arrested Development and Breaking Bad, but after starting on Happy Endings, I just don’t feel like on embarking on a new adventure yet.
Been hanging out with the sissy way too much. And here are a bunch of photos.
Heading to karaoke.
During karaoke.
The baby is obviously not as happy. :(
He only has two teeth!
Did I mention I got a trim? Just a little fringe back. Nothing drastic.
Before…IMAX yesterday. Everyone wants to be Spiderman.
Spring is coming. Let’s hope this streak of smiles continues.
