I’ve just fallen so behind on blogging I don’t even know where to pick it back up. Food? K-Pop? University? Korean? Shopping? Cats? Cosmetics? Quirky, random stuff? Who knows.
I’ve caught the cold, so in the midst of a fever and losing my voice I have time to blog. I must also say though…my Mac’s hard drive crashed so I lost everything (yes, including pictures :( ). Lucky, I haven’t done anything too memorable…right? Haha.
A couple of weeks ago I joined a program at Yonsei University called “One Shot”. Upon hearing it, you would have thought it was about tasting the fine liquor of Seoul, but it’s really about photography. Hohoho.
We had our first meeting on March 30 and we headed to the Children’s Grand Park. So I had a brief look at the map given to us, and this park is literally a zoo, garden, amusement park rolled into one. And here’s what went down…
It was such a cloudy day, not great for picture taking.
We went to watch a children’s show about Peter Pan featuring several animal training tricks.
A yellow polarbear?!
They look like members of a boy band…*plays Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely*
We pretty much walked around a looked at all the animals. It wasn’t a spectacular zoo, but zoos are always fun. :D Too bad they didn’t have an aquarium.
A ridiculously large (and crazy-sounding) menu modelled by Regina. :)
My Therapeutic Apple Latte. It was weird.
Hyun, Regina and I!
We had two big platters of food, but I failed to take pictures of them because…I was too hungry. I will be back though, Butter Finger Pancakes deserves another visit. I think it’s a really good place to drop by if you’re feeling peckish for Western food or pancakes, because they are pretty damn good. Too bad they are just a tad bit far from where I reside. :(
As I said, I suffered a computer crash (‘The Chaotic Crash of ’13’) and I’ve lost all my photos. I still have most of them on my phone and DSLR…but I’m pretty certain I erased about 600 pictures from my phone. :( Oh well, what can you do? Have a cry, drink some tea and keep on walkin’.
Here’s to making more memories…that cannot be erased! And here’s to sounding like a frog. :(
